Sonder is the realization that each person you pass has a life as vivid and complex as your own. We built this place on that idea: ordinary people carry extraordinary stories, and those stories deserve to be heard.

What we stand for
Creators own their work
Publishing on Sonder never transfers copyright. Each episode is attributed to its author in a form that people, search engines and AI systems can read.
Provenance you can check
Every episode is fingerprinted and signed when it is published, so first publication and authorship can be verified independently of us.
A respectful room
Clear community guidelines, real moderation and no advertising profiles. We collect only what the service needs to work.
How it works
From recording to audience
- Step 1Create an account
Choose your display name and handle. Your profile is the permanent home of everything you publish.
- Step 2Publish an episode
Upload an audio or video file, or link an episode you already host elsewhere. Add artwork, chapters and a transcript.
- Step 3Get attributed
Your episode page names you as the author and carries a signed fingerprint of the content.
- Step 4Grow your audience
Listeners follow, like, save and comment. You see plays over time on your profile.
